How to resolve errors during Mcafee Antivirus update installation for Mac

d.         Seek for the message that says 'System software from developer "McAfee, Inc" was blocked from loading.'
e.         Click on enable to authorize the Mac Kernel.



Step 2: Configure Firewall Settings.

When you install MacOS High Sierra, the firewall settings might be changed so to change these settings to allow the internet settings. follow these steps to do the same:
1. Check if any third party firewall installed and running on your system, if yes then make sure that internet settings are allowed for macOS. Save the settings.
2. For Mcafee firewall
a.         Got to the menu bar and click on McAfee.
b.         Go and click on McAfee LiveSafe - Internet Security Console.
c.         Click on Mac Security to proceed further and select Firewall.
d.         Fill your password in the box.
e.         And then change the settings Public to Home or Work.
f.          Save your changes by Clicking on lock.
After making changes to the firewall settings, update the application. If the issue continues to try step 3.

Step 3: Remove cookies and cache files from the Safari web browser. When clearing cookies are done, restart your system. After restarting the system try updating the application again. If you experiencing the same issue again, move forward to step 4.
Step 4: Re-install your Mcafee antivirus product again and when it's finished restart your computer.
