Barcode readers are computers that read a code consisting of bars of different widths representing a value that are composed with numbers and letters. This value represents a unique product or item in an inventory.

There are three types of barcode readers: linear, omnidirectional and optical.

Linear Barcode Reader: The Linear barcode reads code with the help of a linear laser light beam.the code must be correctly placed in front of the reader that reader read it without difficulty. This is the most economical and most used equipment in medium and small businesses.

Linear barcode reader: this type of reader can read traditional barcodes. you can also read qr, pdf or datamatrix codes.

Omni directional barcode reader: this types of reader can read several beams of laser light from different directions. the barcode can be read from different positions.
